Funds for computer facilities at Sri Shanmuga Girls Home - Trincomalee

Sri Shanmuga Girls Home, Trincomalee was founded in 1957 by former judge Hon.N. Krishnathas.  Today, it is being governed and administered by the Sri Shanmuga Trust.  During COVID, there are 15 female children living and studying at the home.  

To assist the children with online learning from home, we provided LKR 871,938 to set up computer facilities.

The funds were donated by 90 LetUsHelpNow contributors from Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. The receipts and thank you letters provided by the homes were shared with the donors and published online.

ஸ்ரீ சண்முக பெண் பிள்ளைகள் சிறுவர் இல்லம் (திருகோணமலை ) :  1957 ம் ஆண்டு ஓய்வுபெற்ற நிதியரசர் அமரர் நா. கிருஸ்ணதாஸ் அவர்களினால் ஆரம்பிக்ப்பட்ட இவ்வில்லமானது ஸ்ரீ சண்முக தர்மதாபனத்தினால் இன்று நிர்வகிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றது. இங்கு இப்போது 15 பெண் பிள்ளைகள் தங்கியுள்ளனர்.  

இங்குள்ள சிறார்களின் கல்வித்தேவைகளை பூர்த்திசெய்யவும் இவர்களுக்கான கணினி வசதிகளை பெற்றுக்கொள்ளவுமாக  90 தன்னார்வ நண்பர்களால் வழங்கப்பட்ட நிதி ரூபா 871,938 இல்லத்தின் வங்கிக் கணக்கில் நேரடியாக வைப்பிலிடப்பட்டது.

இதற்கான நிதி LetUsHelpNow இனது கனடா, அவுஸ்திரேலியா, பிரித்தானியா 90 தன்னார்வ நண்பர்களால் வழங்கப்பட்டது. இல்லத்தின் உத்தியோகபூர்வ பற்றுச்சீட்டும் நன்றிக்கடிதமும் பெறப்பட்டு நன்கொடையாளர்களிடம் பகிரப்பட்டதுடன் அறக்கட்டளையின் இணையத்தளத்திலும் பகிரப்பட்டுள்ளது.
