Basic Needs for Three Eastern Homes (June 2023)

In June 2023, LetUsHelpNow held discussions with eight Eastern care homes.  The following three care homes requested basic needs assistance: Vivehanada Children's Home, Sri Shanmuga Girls Home and Sahana Sewana - Rehabilitation And Training Of Disabled Persons.  

Vivehanada Girls Home (Valaichenai) cares for 35 children. LetUsHelpNow Foundation assisted the home in purchasing five clothing cabinets. LetUsHelpNow provided LKR 191,000 to purchase the cabinets. 

Sri Shanmuga Girls Home (Trincomalee) cares for 19 children. LetUsHelpNow Foundation assisted the home in purchasing clothing and bedding.  LetUsHelpNow provided LKR 200,000 to purchase these supplies.

Sahana Sewana - Rehabilitation And Training Of Disabled Persons (Trincomalee) cares for about 35 children. LetUsHelpNow Foundation assisted the home with further developing their home garden.  LetUsHelpNow provided LKR 150,000 to purchase home garden supplies.
